KARIM BELEFQIH - TECHNICAL ASSET MANAGER

Karim boasts over 25 years of extensive experience gained at Royal Air Maroc, a prominent African airline. During this period, he actively engaged in the medium-haul and short-haul fleet renewal initiative, leading technical comparative studies for replacement aircraft. Notably, he played a pivotal role in establishing and developing the engine overhaul activity within the company.

In 1999, Karim, as Project Manager, orchestrated the outsourcing of the Engine Overhaul activity, resulting in the successful creation of a joint venture with Safran Aircraft Engines – SAESM. Over the next 12 years, he held key positions at SAESM, serving as Vice President of Technical and Maintenance, as well as Vice President of Marketing and Sales. His leadership significantly contributed to positioning SAESM as a major global engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility.

Presently, as an active contributor at Veling, Karim continues to leverage his expertise by conducting technical evaluation studies on both aircraft and engines.
